From Three Waters High Country Holidays

Get away from it all in an extremely healthy climate

‘Three Waters’ is located 15 kms northwest of Glen Innes, a major New England town, which is the Celtic Capital of Australia.  Set high on the New England Ranges and on the flanks of Bullock Mountain at 1,170 metres ‘you feel you can touch the stars at night’.

You can swim, fish, horse ride, fossick for sapphires, bushwalk or just enjoy your surroundings in an extremely healthy climate.

Available are level landscaped creek campsites with shelter sheds for caravans and tent, powered caravan sites, BBQ areas and campfire sites (prices available here: ‘Prices/Bookings’ ).

There is a beautiful long section along the Reddestone Creek for fishing, catching yabbies or swimming with easy access to jetties and ladders.  For more information on activities see our ‘Activities’ tab.

At a short distance from the camping area is the ‘The Gunyah’ which offers communal cooking facilities, a happy hour bar (BYO), a cosy wood heater, dance floor, library/reading area, showers and flush toilets.

The ‘Gunyah’ is an ideal venue for large parties, weddings and family reunions.  It has a huge verandah with spectacular views over the Reddestone Creek, Bullock Mountain and surrounding countryside.   In front of the Gunyah is the large communal fireplace, BBQs and a roasting spit which is perfect for any social function (prices available here: ‘Prices/Bookings’ )

The property is secluded in scenic and superb horse riding country and yet only 15 kilometres from the regional centre of Glen Innes NSW.

‘Bring Your Own Horse on Holidays’ is now a reality at Three Waters.  Three fenced paddocks with plenty of water and shade are located close to the cabins and camping area. Initial orientation ride with owner can be arranged for a small fee and then you are free to explore the countryside unescorted and for no additional costs.

‘Three Waters’ is a safe and friendly official WWOOF host for registered travelling WWOOFers.   We have been a WWOOF host for over six years and offer a real Aussie experience in return for a fair day's work.   This work includes gardening, working and caring for horses, light building projects,  collecting wood for campfires, sharing the cooking at night, cleaning cabins and communal facilities, etc.  We have made many long-term friendships over the last six years.  Checkout our Wwoofer’s comments throughout this Web site.
